Are We Equal To?

In my cardboard project, Are We Equal To? I’m investigating upward negative social comparison. Upward negative social comparison is when people compare themselves to someone or something they perceive to be superior to them. I’ve taken the concept of upward negative social comparison and framed it through media and how we attach our own self-worth to entertainment. Social comparison is not a new concept nor is it defined by technology; the use of the retro TV and phone is meant to ground the project within a certain time period.
